Abstract
PURPOSE:To compress a compact having length even with a little variation before sizing to the fixed sizing dimension by giving the necessary pressurized force data to control circuit in a sizing press charging the compact from the measured value of the compact and sizing dimension by a computer. CONSTITUTION:After pressurizing to compact by a powder compact pressing machine, measured length data (a) for the sintered compact with a length measuring sensor 101 is inputted in the computer 102 beforehand inputting and storing the necessary data (b) through a compressed dimension pressurizing force data inputting means 103. The computer 102 is operated to compare the desired sizing data (c) set with a sizing dimension setting device 104 and the above measured length data (a), to calculate compressing dimension and pressurizing force data (d) to be compacted by compressing the compact to the prescribed sizing dimension is outputted. The above data (d) is supplied to the control circuit in the sizing pressing machine, and even if there is a little variation in the density, all compacts are compacted into a fixed sizing dimension.
