Abstract

PURPOSE:To read an image without reflection from a blackboard face by providing a deflecting plate to a projecting means, radiating the light of a constant deflecting direction toward the blackboard and reading the image through the polarized plate in the polarized light direction orthogonal to the polarized light direction of said polarized plate. CONSTITUTION:The light radiated from a halogen lamp 10 is made incident in a condenser lens 13 and collected and further collected in a slit by a 1st cylindrical lens 14 and goes toward a stationary mirror 15. The light reflected at a right angle by the mirror 15 is a light having a constant polarized direction by a projector side polarized plate 19, transmits through a transparent plate 5 and is projected toward the picture on the blackboard placed in front of the main body 1. Thus, the picture on the blackboard lighted in a slit becomes a sharp picture not affected with the reflection from the surface of blackboard through a reading side polarized plate 6 and the image is formed to the surface of a line sensor 40 via the lens 7.
