Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A hydrous substance contg. physically or chemically bonded water molecules is incorporated into a photosensitive layer contg. silver halide, a reducing agent and a polymerizable compd. so that water molecules contained in the hydrous substance are present in the photosensitive layer by >=1X10<-3>mol./m<2>. The hydrous substance is a compd. having water of crystallization such as Na2SO4.10H2O and the pref. average particle size is 0.01-50mum. The three components in the photosensitive layer are preferably microencapsulated with a wall material contg. the hydrous substance.
