Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a dosimeter element which has superior mechanical strength by forming amino acid crystal powder whose grain size is 500mum or less in prescribed shape by the use of a binder. CONSTITUTION:Amino acid crystal powder utilized has relatively low mol. wt. and high crystallinity such as glycine which represent monoamino monocarboxylic acid and serine which represents oxyamino acid with a grain size of 500mum or less. A fine grain amino acid dosimeter element which has superior mechanical strength can be obtained by planning uniform dispersion and uniformly of element dimensions of amino acid crystal powder in binders such as natural rubber and synthetic rubber.
