Abstract

PURPOSE:To send excavated soil toward back side without spilling out by a method in which a helical vane is provided for the periphery of a rotary drum, and a conveyer is provided for the rear of the drum in such a way as to cross the drum and the axis of the conveyer at a given angle. CONSTITUTION:A cutter loader 8 consists of a rotary drum 10, a helical vane 11 on the periphery of the drum 10, and a cutter 12 attached with a spacing between the vane 11 and the front plate 10b of the drum 10. A conveyer 13 is set on the back side of the loader 8 so that the angle between the conveyer 13 and the axes X-X and Y-Y of the loader 8 is about 45 deg.. A soil spill-preventing plate 14 is provided for the sides of the loader 8. The excavated soil can thus be exactly sent sideways without spilling out.
