Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten a molding and vulcanizing process and to improve productivity, by setting a surface side sheet of a bead ring unvulcanized rubber of a hollow pipe shape placed on both side faces of a sheet carcass layer of a rear face side of an unvulcanized rubber on a molding drum and molding a raw rubber-like connecting ladder member molded body. CONSTITUTION:A rear face side sheet 11 of an unvulcanized rubber is wound on a molding drum 10 and a carcass layer is thereon wound. This carcass layer 12 is placed by winding a bamboo blind weave of cords made of a non- stretchable organic fiber or a metal fiber in such a way that the cord angle to the circumferential direction of the molding drum 10 is 90 deg.. Both side end parts of the rear face side sheet 11 and the carcass layer 12 are respectively folded and wound around a bead ring 13 and a surface side sheet 14 of an unvulcanized rubber is thereon wound. A connecting ladder member molded body 15 is vulcanized by using a mold 16. The ladder member 20 is cut by using a cutter. A rope 30 is passed through a hole 26 of a hollow pipe 25 of the ladder member 21.
