Abstract

PURPOSE: To cope speedily with even variation in the signal interval of tone signals without limiting the combination of tone signal frequencies of a tone signal sequence by sampling and inputting the center point of the tone signal according to the mean signal interval of a least input tone signal sequence.
CONSTITUTION: Frequency detecting circuits 1.1∼1.10 are provided which detect individual frequency components f1∼f10 assigned to respective tone signals constituting an input tone signal sequence consisting of the time-series tone signals. Respective frequency detection outputs B1∼B10 are inputted to and processed by a signal processing circuit 2 as necessary. A state change detecting circuit 3 inputs the respective frequency detection outputs B1∼B10 and generates a state change signal C. An input timing signal generating circuit 4 integrates the reception intervals of the state change signal C and calculates the ratio of the integral time and the input number of tone signals in the integral time when the input signal sequence ends and uses the ratio as the mean signal interval of the tone signals. This mean signal interval is the fetch timing D of the tone signals to the signal processor 2.
