Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A sine wave inverter is composed of a DC power source 25, a chopper circuit 1, a pair of transistors 2-3, and a power transformer 4, and current is fed to a load 14. Besides, a control circuit is composed of an error amplifier 8, a differential amplifier 9, a comparator 10, and the like. Then, an output waveform due to a transistor 15 and smoothing circuits 16-18 connected in series to an intermediate point between the DC power source 25 and a transformer primary-winding 5, and a full-wave rectification waveform from a reference sine wave oscillator 11 are compared with each other, and a pulse width modulation waveform having the pulse width of the function of a difference between both the compared waveforms is generated. This output is fed to the transistor 15, and is turned ON/OFF. As a result, voltage applied to the primary winding 5 of the power transformer 4 and the transistor 15 is prevented from being excessive.
