Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it easy to switch a display by detecting whether or not there is an input signal from >=2 signal sources and outputting the result as a 1-bit or 2-bit control signal, and then automatically switching the display device with it. CONSTITUTION: In the figure, A is an input terminal for a video signal of TTL level of a personal computer and B is an input terminal for a composite video signal from a VCR, etc. When the video signal is inputted from the terminal A to a monostable multivibrator 1, a signal of low level is outputted and inputted to a NAND 4. The signal from the terminal B, on the other hand, has the TTL level through a transistor(TR) 5 and is inputted to a monostable multivibrator 6 and inputted as a high-level signal to the NAND circuit 4. Consequently, the NAND circuit 4 outputs the high-level signal to a terminal C in the presence of the said two inputs or an input to the terminal A. Then when there is no input to the terminal A and there is an input to the terminal B, the output of the NAND circuit 4 is at low level. Consequently, when there is the input to the terminal A, the signal at the terminal A can be displayed on a display device irrelevantly to the input to the terminal B.
