Abstract
PURPOSE: To decrease the frequency of ten-key input operation by showing an operator the meaning of input data by storing signals, inputted from a ten-key input device, in a control device and by displaying the memory content by a lamp key.
CONSTITUTION: In a ten-key input device used as a numeral-only input device of an electronic computer, lamp key group 7 has lamps and keys in a body; when a lamp key, e.g., A1 is pushed, a signal is sent via signal line 9 from ten-key input device 5 to control device 3, which memorizes the depression of lamp key A1 to sent a signal to device 5, so that while lamp key A1 comes on, the other lamp keys will go off. Namely, device 3 memorizes the meaning of input data from device 5 all the time and its memory content agrees with the lighting state of key group 7 at any time. Consequently, the frequency of ten-key input operation can be reduced by showing an operator the meaning of the input data.
