Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate contact of oxygen and to reduce the generation of incomplete combustion gas, by a method wherein the furnace material of a disposing device to perform 'dry' or 'drycombustion' of garbage is formed by a ceramic material being easy to absorb microwaves. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic cylinder 2 is formed by a material having the high radiation efficiency of far infrared rays and the lower part thereof is spread, and the radiation surface on garbage is increased. Ceramic having the high radiation efficiency of infrared ray is flame-sprayed or spread on the inner surface of the ceramic cylinder of a heat resistance steel for baking. A metal wire net or a monolith made of ceramics is used for an air dispersion sheet 5, ceramics 6 for ignition to burn garbage 4 after dry is mounted to the central part of the dispersion sheet, and the dispersion sheet is secured to a bottom cover 7. The material of the bottom cover 7 is a heat resistant steel and the surface thereof has preferably the high coefficient of microwaves reflection. A gap between the cylinder 2 and the bottom cover is sealed so that microwaves are prevented from leak to the outside of a furnace. Microwaves entering the furnace is reflected by the wall surface of the ceramic to increase the temperature of the garbage, and water reduces to steam which is raised in the furnace. Since the temperature of the furnace wall is increased owing to absorption of microwaves, the surface of the garbage is radiated with infrared rays to assist drying.
