Abstract

The intensity of the rubbing vibration in a signal 8a generated as a result of the alternation of the amplification factor as mentioned above is converted with a rubbing intensity computing section 18 into a rubbing intensity signal 17a as signal having a value the very proportional to the intensity of a rubbing vibration 100a. Thus, a qualified motion pointer for a rotary machine 1 can be obtained in a wide range of the intensity of the rubbing vibration 100a by a monitor signal 19a.
