Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain automatic closing of a sky-light, a cut-off door, a damper, or the like by enclosing a thermally expandable substance in a barrel in which a piston is provided in a slidable manner. CONSTITUTION:A bellows 4 and a piston, which slides in the vertical direction in correspondence to expansion or contraction of the bellows 4, are provided in a barrel 2 placed under an atmosphere that is subjected to temperature variation. In addition, fleon gas G, which expands or contracts in correspondence to temperature variation, is enclosed in the bellows 4. With this contrivance, when the ambient temperature around the barrel 2 varies, the fleon gas G expands or contracts by heat to move the piston 6 up and down. As a result, a sky-light, a cut-off door, a damper or the like can automatically be closed or opened.
