CONSTITUTION:In an apparatus which makes powder by atomizing molten metal, the adjust screw is arranged at the lower part of the outer cylinder 9 of the nozzle and a gear 13 is fitted to the lower part of the adjust screw 11. By driving a motor 12, the adjust screw 11 is rotated through the gear 13 and the outer cylinder 9 of the nozzle is vertically shifted, to adjust the slit width W.
