Abstract

A liner 6 is secured fixedly to the side surface of the block 4 of clamp claw 3 side and bears against the side surface of clamp claw 3. Further a jib 7 is interposed between the block 5 and the clamp claw 3. Before a workpiece W is clamped by the chuck, the jib 7 is drawn out to ward the outer periphery by an adjusting bolt 9 to provide a gap between the jib 7 and the clamp claw 3 so that the clamp claws 3 can be freely opened and closed and the workpiece W is clamped concentrically.
