Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten a treatment time when positional shift is large, by calculating the positional shift quantity between the first and second contracted images on the basis of both images and subjecting the same to the correction of positional shift. CONSTITUTION:The mask image obtained by the photographing of an examinee before a contrast medium is mixed in the desired region to be diagnosed of the examinee and the contrast image obtained by the photographing of the examinee after the contrast medium is mixed are respectively stored in a mask image memory 21 and a contrast image memory 22 and subjected to contraction processing in the first and second contraction processing parts 24, 25 to be stored in a contracted mask image memory 26 and a contracted contrast image memory 27. The positional shift between the contracted mask image and the contracted contrast image is calculated by a positional shift operation means 28 to be subjected to the correction of positional shift in a positional shift correcting means 32. Both images corrected in positional shift are processed by a subtraction processing means 35 and subsequently supplied to a CRT display 37 through a D/A converting means 36.
