PURPOSE:To enable a color toner forming a sharp color image to be electrically charged and image quality to be retained same as than of an initial image after successive copying by adding an electric charge controller of a polymer or copolymer comprising repeating units each represented by a specified general formula. CONSTITUTION:The triboelectrifying member suitable for positively charging the color toner so as to form a sharp color image and capable of retaining image quality same as that of the initial image is obtained by externally adding the charge controller of the polymer composed of the repeating units or the copolymer of said units each represented by formula I, R1 being H, CH3, and R2 being H or 1-6C alkyl, and other vinyl units.
