Abstract

PURPOSE:To simulate a residual charge state by discharge from one capacitor, by connecting in parallel a primary winding of each phase so that the direction of a magnetic flux generated by a primary winding of one phase becomes opposite to the other phase. CONSTITUTION:One (PCw in the figure) of primary winding PCu, PCv and PCw of each phase of a measuring instrument transformer VT is connected in parallel so that a magnetic flux phiw becomes opposite to magnetic fluxes phiu, phiv of other phase, when currents Iu, Iv and Iw have flowed in the same direction. As a result, by discharge from one capacitor C, the same state as the time when a line of each phase is opened from a three phase AC power source can be simulated. A necessary residual charge state can be simulated by using a high voltage DC power source DC and one piece of capacitor C, therefore, a testing device can be simplified and miniaturized.
