Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a molded product having good coherency of shape and excellent appearance of the product, by hot-molding a leathery sheet constructed from a specific polyester based polyurethane elastomer and a fiber aggregate consisting essentially of ultrafine fibers. CONSTITUTION:A molded product obtained by hot-molding a leathery sheet constructed from a polyester based polyurethane elastomer prepared by reacting 40-70wt.%, preferably 45-65wt.% polymer diol, obtained by condensation polymerization of a diol consisting essentially of 3-methylpentanediol-1,5 with a dicarboxylic acid (e.g. 6-12C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid) and having 700-3,000 average molecular weight with an organic diisocyanate selected from aliphatic or alicyclic diisocyanates and a chain extender having two active hydrogen atoms and a fiber aggregate consisting essentially of ultrafine fibers having <=0.3 denier single fiber size or/and bundle-like fibers thereof at 130-220 deg.C temperature.
