Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of gates in the constitution of a correction operation means, by providing a RAM, which receives the printing data emitted from a printer control part and stores the same as the operation data of the post stage of the correction operation means, to the prestage of the correction operation means. CONSTITUTION:Head current supply data is transmitted to a RAM 3 and a correction operation control part 5 reads said data to emit the parameter of control data and a correction operation auxiliary table to a correction operation logical part 4 as correction operation reference. The correction operation logical part 4 reads the printing data written in the RAM 3 and applies correction operation thereto according to the correction operation reference to write an encoded signal prescribing the current supply time to each heat generating element in the RAM 3. When an output control part 7 receives the output order from the correction operation control part 5, the time 8 therein is operated and emits the encoded signal from an output memory 6 to each heat generating element. A current is supplied to each heat generating element only for the current supply time corresponding to the signal and printing is applied in such a state that the surface temp. of each heat generating element is made uniform.
