Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the detection of a machine height to prevent the resistance of the machine body with the moving speed, by detecting the height of a machine body from the surface of mud based on the detection signal transmitted when the detected value of a pressure- sensitive sensor reaches a prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:Signals from a pressure-sensitive sensor 8 and a proximity sensor 11 are inputted into a controlling device 12. The inputted signal B' corresponds to the passage of the pressure-sensitive face 8a of the pressure-sensitive sensor 8 on a detecting point B on the surface S of a paddy field and the inputted signal C' corresponds to the passage of the sensor on a detecting point C on the mud surface G having a prescribed mud hardness used as a standard for transplantation. The height of the seedling transplantation apparatus from the mud surface G is detected by measuring the period (t) from the time A' corresponding to the standard position preset based on the signal transmitted from the proximity sensor 11 to the time when the signal C' corresponding to the preset mud hardness is inputted. A hydraulic cylinder 14 of a quadruple link mechanism 6 is extended or contracted by a controlling device 12 via a control valve 13 in such a manner as to keep the preset height of the seedling transplantation apparatus from the mud surface G based on the detected height.
