Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a sealed-type lead-acid battery with which self-discharge is minimized while the battery is left unused, blow-out of the battery due to short circuit is prevented, and the high rate discharge characteristics is improved, by making the theoretical capacity of activated substance per unit area at a lug portion to be 2.0Ah/mm<2> or less.
