Abstract

PURPOSE:To simultaneously count plural input pulse signals by controlling the counting operation of a counting circuit and the reading-out operation in time division. CONSTITUTION:A first timing signal t1 which indicates the latch timing to a flip-flop group 3, a second timing signal t2 which is behind the signal t1 and is used for selection of gates 51-5n, and a third timing signal t3 which latches data on a common bus to a register 6 are cyclically generated by a timing generator 2 based on a clock t0 of a clock generator 1. Consequently, the counting operation and the reading-out operation of the counted result are controlled in time division. Thus, counting operations and reading-out operations of data in counting circuits of plural pulse input signals are executed in parallel without hindrance.
