Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve a diagnosis of abnormality of a sensor at a low cost and accurately, by erasing a time item of output signals of two sensors by a linear regression formula to rearrange a characteristic difference between both the sensors by three parameters.
CONSTITUTION: Sensors A1 and B2 send an output A7 and an output B8 to a sensor abnormality diagnosing device 5 with respect to the same process variable 6. A linear regression formula B=α.A+β is determined with a linear regression analyzer 3 within the device 5 and to be sent to a fuzzy inferring device 4. The inferring device 4 performs extraction of an abnormality sensor from positions of center of gravity (mA and mB), an intercept β and the state of a tilt α to diagnose the cause thereof and the results 9 of diagnosis are outputted.
