Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct the nonlinearity in luminance caused by the driving charac teristic of a cathode-ray tube by using remaining one video system among the three for lowering output voltages generated by other two systems at the time of maximum luminance. CONSTITUTION:Third system outputs 16, 19, 22 go to a low level at a time when first system video outputs 14, 17, 20 and second system video outputs 15, 18, 21 corresponding to video signals go to a high level simultaneously and the luminance go to the maximum. Thus the resistance value of a matrix resis tance network 5 is varied in order to correct said high-luminance output levels by lowering them. The amount of this correction is adjusted by means of the matrix resistor 5 connected in series to the third video outputs 16, 19, 22.
