Abstract

PURPOSE:To generate no skew, etc., without receiving the effect of the mean video level of a signal even in the case of causing a dropout for comparatively long period by connecting a 2nd clamp circuit to the rear step of a delay circuit. CONSTITUTION:At the time when a modulation FM signal is dropped, a control pulse is outputted from a dropout detection circuit 8, a changeover switch 5 does a changing over operation and the delay circuit loop including a 1H delay circuit 7 and the 2nd clamp circuit 9 is closed. The fluctuation of the DC potential of a synchronous signal within a dropout period is eliminated by the 2nd clamp circuit 9 provided inside the delay circuit loop. Namely the DC potential fluctuation of the case of generating a dropout for comparatively long period is restrained by the action of this 2nd clamp circuit 9 and the DC potential fluctuation of a horizontally synchronous signal at the time of completing the dropout period is eliminated as well. A sag, etc., are thus not generated and the fear of generating a skew on the picture plane of a TV receiver is eliminated.
