Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the safety of a self-traveling working vehicle by monitoring the receiving state of a receiver even in a self-traveling state with a remote controlling transmitter and a transmitter set on the vehicle kept working and stopping automatically when the receiving abnormality occurs. CONSTITUTION:A self-traveling process is started for a working vehicle V which is set at its starting position. The receiving state of a receiver 14 is monitored when said process is started to check the receiving abnormality. If the receiving abnormality is confirmed, the traveling of the vehicle V is kept halt until said abnormality is solved with an alarm lamp 17 kept turned on. The receiving abnormality includes not only the level drop of a carrier wave signal received from a transmitter 13 but such a state where the instruction information on a change gear lever 20 and a steering lever 21 gets out of a normal range set previously.
