する発光素子と、物体から反射された赤外光を受
光してその受光位置に応じた信号を出力する位置
検出素子PSDとを使用した距離測定装置におい
て、位置検出素子の両出力信号を増幅する二つの
増幅器と、各増幅器の出力信号に含まれる上記発
光器の点滅周波数帯の信号を通過させる二つのフ
イルタと、各フイルタを通過する各信号を検波し
て発光器からの赤外光成分に応じた信号のみを取
り出してこれを測距演算に供する二つの検波器と
を備え、一方の検波器の出力によつて上記二つの
増幅器の増幅度を制御することを特徴とする距離
