Abstract
PURPOSE:To attain the improvement of efficiency in a machine while promoting its noise reduction by forming a rotor profile wherein no contact between rotors is generated even when the relative displacement is generated in the axial direction of both the rotors in the inside of at least one of the female and male rotors. CONSTITUTION:A pair of male and female rotors 5, 6, meshed with each other, are arranged in a casing 7 having a water jacket 8, and a rotor shaft of each rotor 5, 6 is supported by a radial bearing 9 and a thrust bearing 10. Here, constituting the thrust bearing 10 of a ball bearing, when a slight clearance is provided in the axial direction, both the rotors 5, 6 generate the displacement in the axial direction as shown by a one-dot chain line, sometimes causing a rotor profile to come into contact (to interfere). By this reason, at least one of both the rotors 5, 6, for instance, the female rotor 6 forms a profile, reduced in its thickness, by rotating advancing and reversing surfaces of the initial rotor profile by the predetermined rotary angle to the inside of the profile with the rotor center serving as the center.
