Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily perform manufacture at a low cost in a pair of male and female screw rotors which are mutually engaged and rotated by forming a simple tooth profile consisting of continuous lines which are easy to manufacture on the inside of each ideal tooth profile. CONSTITUTION:A male rotor 7 is rotated centering around a rotary shaft 5 whose axis is the cross point between a plurality of axes X1, Y. A female rotor 8 is rotated in the opposite direction to the male rotor 7 centering around a rotary shaft 6 whose axis is the cross point between a plurality of axes X2, Y. The ideal tooth profiles 1, 2 of the rotors 7, 8 are formed so as to keep contact in any point or to keep a minute gap at the time of rotation. In this case, a simple tooth profile 3 is formed by, e.g., continuing straight lines on the inside of the ideal tooth profile 1 of the male rotor 7. Also, a simple tooth profile 4 is formed by, e.g., equally continuing straight lines on the inside of the ideal tooth profile 2 of the female rotor 8.
