Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize the amount of a molten metal and to control the feeding amt. of the molten metal with high accuracy by providing a throttle part at one place of a piping system in the feeding device equipped with the piping system feeding the molten metal inside its holding furnace to a molten metal receiving side by an electromagnetic pump. CONSTITUTION:The level 2a of a molten metal 2 inside a constant level furnace 1 is set to the position slightly higher than that of a piping 10 and the level 17 in the same height as the level 2a is formed inside an adaptor 15. When an electromagnetic pump 13 is actuated, the molten metal 2 in the flow corresponding an impress voltage is discharged from the adaptor 15. Since a throttle part (orifice 14) is installed inside a piping 9 the amount of the molten metal is stabilized even in the case of feeding a small amount of molten metal 2 to a molten metal receiving side 5. The shape of the orifice is formed by providing an opening at upper and lower two places at least of a disk. Therefore, the air enclosure inside a piping system 16 is prevented and in the case of making the inside of the piping 16 vacant the remaining of the molten metal 2 inside a pipe is prevented.
