Abstract
PURPOSE: To monitor a treating place and a display means while manipulating a control means by using only one hand, by coupling a lower handle part of a unit hand piece, with a proximal part of a probe through electrical transmission engagement, by providing a cure monitoring and controlling upper handle part having a front panel provided with a means for displaying a treatment condition of the unit. CONSTITUTION: A hand piece 14 is composed of a lower handle part 18, and a flat front face 23 of the hand piece above an upper patient treating part 24, includes display elements for an elapsing treating time, a treating current level and a circuit condition indicator. Further, it includes switches 32, 34 for increasing and decreasing a level of d.c. current running through a probe 16, and stopping current. The probe 16 is composed of electrodes 36, 38 which extend from conductive nine rectangular sectional shape keying blocks 41 fitted in holes 40 formed in the distal end part 44 of the hand piece 14 to a sharpened chip.
