Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the reproducibility of measurement and to simplify the measurement, by automatically performing control so that a waveform is set to a secondary differential waveform and an output voltage value becomes a certain definite value and outputting a repeat signal when a pulse rate is not within a certain predetermined range. CONSTITUTION:The light changing by an increase and decrease in a blood amount emitted from a pulse wave detector 1 is amplified by an amplifier 2 to pass through a voltage value controller 3 and controlled to a pulse waveform of a certain definite voltage value. The pulse waveform is differentiated two times by a secondary differentiator 4 to become an acceleration pulse waveform which is, in turn, converted to a digital signal by an A/D converter 5. Said digital signal is compared with the upper and lower limit values determined by an upper limit comparator 6 and a lower limit comparator 7 and the signal controlling the amplifying value of the voltage value controller 3 is fed back from a control signal generator 8 to perform control. The digital signal is compared with a certain predetermined value to generate a pulse from a pulse generator 9 and this time is counted by a timer 10. When the count number is not within a predetermined range, a repeat signal is outputted to inform that measurement is impossible.
