Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the effective performance and reduce the amount of reinforcing bars or the like used by interposing a base isolation structure between the substructure and superstructure of a building and making the superstructure have a prestressed concrete structure. CONSTITUTION: A building 1 is separated to a superstructure 2 and a substructure 3, and laminated rubber bearings 4 are interposed between the structure 3 and the structure 2. Also, in the case where the structure 2 is a flat slab 8, an unbounded PC steel wires 9 are distributed in the slab 8 and both the ends are towed and fixed; in the case where structure 2 is a frame structure, the unbounded PC steel wires are embedded and arranged between the columns in the beam axis direction and the slab is supported. Thus, influence from the structure 3 is eliminated by the bearings 4, part of the design bending moment is canceled by the prestressed moment, and the deflection is reduced. Thus, the effective performance can be improved, cross section is reduced thereby decreasing the use amount of the reinforcing bars.
