Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture a bellows joint by machine cutting, by a method wherein a fluorine resin solid material is heat-treated, cut into lengths of the joint, a part of an end of the same corresponding to a tubular part and a bellows part are cut into a desired outside diameter and length, a through hole having a desired inside diameter is bored into the same, the outside and inside of the bellows part are cut into a desired depth and pitch and the tubular part of the other end is cut into the desired outside diameter. CONSTITUTION:A fluorine resin solid material is charged into a heating furnace, heat- treated and cut into desired lengths of a joint. A part of an end of the solid material corresponding to a tubular part 3 is cut into a desired outside diameter and length, a part of the solid material corresponding to a bellows part is cut into a desired outside diameter and length and the solid material is cut into a desired inside diameter for boring of the through hole 5. A part corresponding to the outside part 6 of the bellows part 4 from the end of the bellows part 4 and a part corresponding to an inside part 7 of the bellows part from the end of the bellows part 4 of the inside of the through hole 5 are cut in order into a desired depth and pitch. A part corresponding to a tubular part 3' of the other end is cut into a desired outside diameter. With this combination of the respective processes, a bellows joint made of fluorine resin comprised of an integrated body is manufactured.
