Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable vacuum molding and pressure molding by the same mold, by a method wherein a movable cylinder provided between a stationary and movable die plates is sealed in an airtight state and molding is performed by depressurizing or pressurizing the inside of the molding mold fixed on the inside of each die plate. CONSTITUTION:An airtight state of an airtight chamber 6 is maintained by an inner circumferential surface of a movable cylinder 3, each of the insides of each of die plates 1, 2, a seal ring 4, a packing ring 5, a seal ring 21 for a tie bar and a seal ring 19 for a piston 18. When a check valve 24 communicated with a vent hole 12 bored into the upper part of a stationary die plate 1 is opened, the inside of the airtight chamber 6 and that of a cavity 7A of molding molds 7, 8 are depressurized (or pressurized) respectively through a vacuum (or pressurizing) tank 25. Thus after the molding molds 7, 8 each have been joined together by moving the movable die plate 2 by a clamping arm 14 and cylinder 15, molten resin is cast into the cavity 7A through a nozzle 10 from a molten resin extruding part 11 by an injection action of a screw 108 and resin molding is performed.
