Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the variation in a gain among channels by adding a pilot signal varying inversely proportional to the gain of a gain control amplifier receiving a main control signal to an input signal. CONSTITUTION:A pilot signal from a pilot signal generating circuit 11 is fed to an amplifier 12, from which a pilot signal varying inversely proportional to the gain of an amplifier 4a controlled by a signal fed from a terminal 9 is formed. The pilot signal is added to the input signal by an adder 2 and fed to amplifiers 4a, 4b, 4c via signal processing circuits 3a, 3b, 3c of each channel. Then the level of the pilot signal in the output signal of the amplifiers is detected by pilot signal detection circuits 6a, 6b, 6c and the gain of the amplifiers 4b, 4c is controlled based on the difference between the output of the circuit 6a obtained by the comparators 7, 8 and being a reference and the output of the other circuits 6b, 6c.
