Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a gain-controlled noninversion and inversion output having symmetry, by using an amplifier which has the same gain as the inphase gain of a differential amplifier for inversion when obtaining the gain controlled noninversion and inversion output used for PCM communication, etc. CONSTITUTION:An amplifier 11 is an equivalent circuit for the inphase input of a differential amplifier 12 and has the same gain as the inphase gain of the amplifier 12. Therefore, when an input signal VIN is at a reference voltage VDC, the output VOUTIDC of the amplifier 11 is an output VODC equal to the noninversion output VOUT+ of the amplifier 12. As the signal VIN is inputted, a signal obtained by amplifying a difference between the signal VIN and reference voltage VDC appears at the noninversion output VOUT+ of the amplifier 12. The gains of the amplifiers 11 and 12 are controlled by a gain control voltage VAGC and reference voltage VRAGC and the output signal VOUT1+ and output signal VOUT1DC are equally gain-controlled. Receiving both the signals VOUT1+ and VOUT1DC, a differential amplifier 13 amplifies their difference to generate a noninversion output VOUT2+ and inversion output VOUT2-.
