Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve impregnating rate of a semiconductor layer with respect to an anodic base body to enhance capacity in a small volume, by forming the semiconductor layer under specific low temperature range. CONSTITUTION:Employing a metal having a valve action, such as aluminum, tantalum, niobium, titanium or the alloy thereof, etc., as a base body of a valve metal used for an anode, a dielectric oxide layer is formed over the surface of the anodic base body. Next, a semiconductor layer whose base material consists of lead dioxide or both of lead dioxide and lead sulfate is formed over the dielectric oxide layer by chemical deposition under temperature between 28 deg.C and 44 deg.C. Then, a conductive layer is formed over the semiconductor layer by depositing a metal layer or a carbon layer, or by depositing the metal layer next to the carbon layer. As a result, the dissipation factor of the capacitor can be not only reduced, but the capacitance thereof can be increased.
