CONSTITUTION:A syntax analysis result preserving means 3 preserves results of syntax analysis obtained by a syntax diagnostic means 2 as a syntax analysis result preservation file on a storage device 4, and a syntax analyzing means 7 performs syntax analysis in the translation processing system to generate an intermediate language as the object of semantic analysis. A syntax analysis result restoring means 8 reads out the syntax analysis result preservation file, which is preserved by the syntax analysis result preserving means 3, from the storage device 4 to generate the intermediate language based on the contents of the syntax analysis result preservation file so that the translation processing system can execute semantic analysis without executing syntax analysis by the syntax analyzing means 7.
