CONSTITUTION:Each quartz oscillating circuit 4 of a quartz oscillation control part 2 is provided with a one-bit register, and the circuit 4 is set to the oscillation state when contents of the register are '0', and the circuit 4 is set to the stop state when they are '1'. '1' is written in registers of quartz oscillating circuits whose oscillation should be stopped in the quartz oscillation control part 2 by an instruction designating part 1, and feedback resistances consisting of P channel transistors TRs and N channel TRs of selected quartz oscillating circuits 4 are turned off to stop oscillation of quartz oscillating elements. In case of restart of oscillation, '0' is written in registers of quartz oscillation control part 2 by a quartz oscillation start control part 3 to restart oscillation. Thus, oscillation and stop of all quartz oscillating elements connected to plural quartz oscillating circuits are arbitrarily controlled.
