Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a photometric circuit simple in constitution with good light measurement accuracy by photodetecting stationary light and chopped light by using only one sensor. CONSTITUTION:A resistance 13 which converts a photocurrent into a voltage is connected in series with the sensor 3 and a capacitor 15 which leads only an AC component out is connected to the connection point to pass a high frequency signal and cut a low frequency signal. The output of the AC component is amplified by an amplifier 16, whose output is supplied to a circuit 8 which generates a timing signal for sample holding from the signal of the AC component and an absolute value circuit 9. Further, the photoelectric current of the sensor 3 is amplified by an amplifier 14, whose output is sent to a sample holding circuit 7 for extracting the signal of the DC component. Consequently, the signals of the DC and AC components are amplified only by the amplifiers 14 and 16 to improve the S/N. The variations of the signals of the DC and AC components are about 10<3> times and >=100 times, but this circuit uses the amplifiers 14 and 16 individually, so proper magnification can be applied.
