PURPOSE:To automatically detect a winding tape end by providing an intake means to give intake action to the suction port of a holder provided near the outer peripheral surface of a tape to be rotated, and providing a sensor which detects pressure variation in an intake chamber of the holder to stop the rotation of a table rotating means. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 8 is driven to rotate a winding tape end 1a of a tape 1, and the end 1 is thereby made to approach a suction port 18 of an intake chamber in a holder 17, the winding tape end 1a is sucked to the suction port 18. As a result of this suction, air pressure in the intake chamber of the holder 17 rises, and a pressure sensor 20 detects the above-mentioned pressure variation through a hose 19. The detection signal stops the rotation of a motor 8, and makes the cylinder 21 function to cause its pushing pressure piece 22 to press the winding tape end 1a against the suction port 18.
