Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the subject device wherein a packaging paper is led to the outer peripheral surface and both end surfaces of a material to be packaged rotating in one direction and packaging paper guides are provided, thereby to efficiently carry out the packaging of a cylindrical material by a simple construction.
CONSTITUTION: The leading end of a packaging paper of a packaging paper coil 2 is led between a material 11 to be packaged and a roller 16 by way of a packaging paper supporting surface 28, and a horizontal guide 22 by means of a pinch roller 3, and both sides of the leading end of the packaging paper protruding from the width of the material 11 to be packaged are caused to stand up along a guide 21. Then, when a turning roller device 10 is started to rotate the material 11 to be packaged in a direction shown by arrow at a low speed, and simultaneously the driven roller 6 of the pinch roller 3 is separated upward and a motor 4 and a packaging paper folding part pressing device 13 are operated, the central part of the packaging paper 7 is guided by an arcuate guide 20 and comes into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the material 11 to be packaged, and at both sides of the packing paper a folded parts 38 are formed at substantially equal intervals by a throttle guide protion 21 and a reverse fan shaped guide 19, whereupon the packaging is completed.
