Abstract

PURPOSE:To synthesize the titled compound having inhibition ability against blood platelet agglutination, by reacting a (6E)-1alkyl-4-acyl-6-alkylidene-2, 5- piperazinedione with an aromatic aldehyde in the presence of a base. CONSTITUTION:A (6E)-1-alkyl-4-acyl-6-alkylidene-2, 5-piperazinedione expressed by formula I (R<1>-R<3> are alkyl) is subjected to condensation reaction with an aromatic aldehyde in the presence of a base (e.g. potassium tert-butoxide or triethylamine) to provide a (3Z, 6E)-1-alkyl-3-arylmethylidene-6-alkylidene-2, 5piperazinedione expressed by formula II (Ar is aromatic group). The compound expressed by formula I is obtained by N-alkylating a compound expressed by formula III to afford a compound expressed by formula IV, then reacting the resultant compound expressed by formula IV with ammonia to provide a compound expressed by formula V and subsequently acylating the obtained compound.
