Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to enhance the utility by enabling the lengths of axles of a carrier vehicle which unloadably carries a working vehicle and can run on a trackway to be changed, and by enabling a drive device and a brake device in the carrier vehicle to be driven with the use of a hydraulic unit in a vehicle mounted on the carrier vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A carrier vehicle frame F of a carrier vehicle 2 which carries thereon a working vehicle and is adapted to run on a trackway is composed of right and left wheel receiving beds 17 for receiving right and left wheels of the front and rear sections of the working vehicle. Further, axles 19 arranged at the front and rear of the carrier vehicle are split into right and left parts which are connected through the intermediary of adjusting axles 21 so that their lengths may be adjusted. Further, a drive gear 42 is fitted on the adjusting axle 21 n one of the axles 19, to which power from a hydraulic motor 40 can be transmitted for driving the axle. A brake drum 51 is fitted on the adjustable axle 21 in the other one of the axles 19 so that braking force may be produced by the operation of a hydraulic cylinder 45 so as to form a brake mechanism. The hydraulic motor 40 and the hydraulic cylinder 45 are connected through pipe lines to a hydraulic unit on the working vehicle.
