Conventionally, as contact wires used for power supplying equipment such as overhead electric trains, there have been contact wires with built-in insulated wires for alarm as shown in Publication of Utility Model Publication No. 41-23625, Publication of Publication No. 42-299 of 1973, etc. Are known. However, in the case of such conventional contact wires, there was a problem in that it was impossible to determine whether the signal emitted from the alarm insulated wire was a wear detection signal or a disconnection detection signal.

The present invention was developed in view of the above points, and the purpose is to provide an optical fiber-containing contact wire that can reliably distinguish between wear and disconnection accidents in the contact wire. , two optical fibers are inserted in an unrestrained state with a vertical interval between them into a hollow hole that includes a wear limit position at the center of the contact wire and an upper position vertically spaced from this position.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in the figure, when the wear limit position X of the contact wire 1 is determined in advance from the viewpoint of current capacity, tensile strength, etc. A hollow hole 2 penetrating the contact wire 1 in the length direction is formed in the center in the left-right direction so that its lower part intersects the wear limit position X, and the cross-sectional shape of the hollow hole 2 is long in the vertical direction. Two optical fibers 3A and 3B are inserted inside the optical fiber 3A and 3B with an interval in the vertical direction. These two optical fibers 3A, 3B are connected to the wear limit position
and an upper position Y spaced vertically upward from this position.
By fixing each other so as to set a distance from each other, and by sandwiching the connecting piece 4 between the constricted portion 5 of the hollow hole 2, horizontal vibration and twisting are prevented, and
It is loaded in an unconstrained state and is movable in the length direction.

Therefore, in the normal state, it is confirmed that the optical fiber-containing contact wire according to the embodiment has no abnormality by detecting the reception of the transmitted light. When the sliding surface of the pantograph etc. gradually shifts upward and reaches the wear limit position X,
Since the optical fiber 3A in the hollow hole 2 is damaged, no light is transmitted, and on the condition that the optical fiber 3B at the upper position Y receives light at this time, the wear limit of the contact wire 1 is detected. Ru. On the other hand, when the contact wire 1 is disconnected, the two optical fibers 3A and 3B buried in the hollow hole 2 are also disconnected, so the failure of both optical fibers 3A and 3B to receive light causes a disconnection of the contact wire 1. is detected.

In addition, under conditions such as when the contact wire 1 is attached to a curved part of the track, the sliding surface may not be level and a phenomenon of uneven wear may occur where either the left or right side wears more. At this time, since the optical fibers 3A and 3B are vertically spaced apart from each other in the center in the left-right direction, even if a one-sided wear phenomenon occurs, the optical fibers 3A and 3B are always located below.
A is damaged first and therefore there is no risk of erroneous recognition such as a disconnection signal being issued even though it is worn out.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to clearly distinguish and detect the wear limit or disconnection accident of a contact wire in an overhead contact line state, and in particular, it is possible to detect the erroneous detection of a disconnection accident signal that is caused by erroneously emitting a disconnection accident signal when the contact wire is worn out on one side. Furthermore, since the optical fiber is inserted loosely into the hollow hole and the relative movement in the axial direction between the contact wire and the contact wire is free, unreasonable movement due to thermal expansion and contraction of the contact wire can be reliably prevented. This has the advantage that tension or the like does not act on the optical fiber.
