[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing artificial wood grain decorative veneer,
The objective is to obtain a decorative veneer that closely resembles the appearance of decorative veneers obtained from natural wood, compared to conventionally produced artificial wood grain decorative veneers.

Conventional artificial wood grain decorative veneers are made of wood called low-grade wood such as agathis or lamin, which has no wood grain pattern or is hardly noticeable, and is processed to a thickness of 0.5~ by using a regular scraping machine.
The veneer is peeled to a thickness of about 1.0 mm and then dyed in the desired color or not, and then glued between a flat plate or a pair of uneven templates using a commonly used colored or colorless adhesive.
Approximately 100 to 300 sheets are laminated and pressed and bonded to form a veneer laminated frittu. This is then re-laminated with a scraping machine to a thickness of 0.2 to 100 ml.
It was peeled to about 1.0 mm in the direction of the adhesive surface and at the required angle to create an artificial wood grain decorative veneer.

However, the artificial wood grain decorative veneer mentioned above is made from veneer obtained from low-grade wood and is divided into several color tones through treatments such as dyeing, in order to resemble veneers of natural precious woods such as rose, teak, and walnut. Even if we dyed the wood and combined them, we were unable to reproduce the complex color changes that natural precious wood exhibits.

In addition, since the grain pattern of artificial wood grain decorative veneer is manufactured by laminating veneers, it becomes a continuous pattern in the form of regular contour lines, and like the grain pattern of natural precious wood veneer, it may disappear or reappear in the middle. Furthermore, it was not possible to change the width or color tone of the wood grain.

No. 18708 uses a veneer with a hole in the center,
JP-A No. 53-148516 proposes a method of changing the wood grain pattern by forming frits with multiple adhesive layers of different colors, but the artificial wood grain decoration that can be obtained by either method is Even though the veneer had a unique grain pattern not found in natural wood veneers, it looked monotonous and unnatural compared to natural wood veneers.

In other words, veneers obtained from low-grade wood that have no or almost no wood grain pattern are laminated between a pair of templates of the desired shape using an adhesive, pressed and bonded to form a veneer laminated frit, and then peeled off. In the method for producing artificial wood grain decorative veneers, when laminating the veneers obtained from the above-mentioned low-grade wood, the length of the outer circumference obtained from the precious wood at fixed or arbitrary intervals is the same as the length of the veneer obtained from the low-grade wood. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an artificial wood grain decorative veneer in which end length veneers shorter and thinner than the board are inserted and laminated here and there.

以下、図面により本発明を説明する。 The present invention will be explained below with reference to the drawings.

1 is a veneer obtained from low-grade wood (hereinafter referred to as low-grade wood veneer), and at certain or arbitrary intervals between the low-grade wood veneers 1, there are spots with a shorter outer circumference than the low-grade wood veneers 1, An end length veneer 2 (hereinafter referred to as end length veneer) obtained from natural precious wood and having a thin thickness is inserted and arranged. The term "low-grade wood" as referred to in the present invention refers to wood with no or almost no grain pattern, which is relatively inexpensive and available in large quantities, and is called South Sea wood or African wood, such as agathis, ramin, zierton, lauan, and wawa.

On the other hand, natural precious woods refer to woods such as teak, rose, walnut, zebra twig, quince, zelkova, cherry, and shioji, which have beautiful grain patterns and skin and have traditionally been prized as precious woods.

ためである。
In the present invention, the above-mentioned end length veneers 2 are inserted and arranged in places between the low-grade wood veneers 1, so that the amount of the precious wood end length veneers 2 in the entire fritches is smaller than that of the low-grade wood veneers 1. By using a much smaller amount, the overall image of the artificial wood grain decorative veneer obtained is to be almost the same as when only the low-grade wood veneer 1 is used. In addition, the length of the outer circumference of the edge length veneer 2 is made shorter than that of the lower grade wood veneer 1.
This is to make it possible to cut the artificial wood grain pattern in the middle. Furthermore, the reason why the end length veneer 2 is made thinner than the low-grade wood veneer 1 is to make the width of the artificial wood grain formed by the end length veneer 2 narrower than the width of the wood grain formed by the low-grade wood veneer 1. This makes the wood grain pattern very complex, such as partially changing the overall wood grain pattern, or partially revealing the unique colors of natural wood that cannot be obtained by dyeing. It's for a reason.

The adhesive 3 for bonding the veneers is preferably a room temperature curing wood adhesive such as urea, melamine, vinyl acetate, epoxy, or urethane.

Example 1 Rotary veneers with a thickness of 0.7 mm obtained from Ramin logs were dyed in three types of dark reddish-purple colors. Next, 200g/ m2 of urea resin adhesive colored dark black was applied to both sides of the dyed veneer, and when laminating three types of dyed veneers in appropriate combinations between the flat plates, the outer periphery of the veneer was lower than that of the lamin veneer. short length and small thickness
0.3mm rose veneer edge length veneer is laminated by sandwiching the dyed veneer here and there, and the weight is 20Kg/m 2 at room temperature.
It was pressed under the same pressure for 5 hours to form a veneer laminated frit. The frits were then leveled using a sawmill and sliced in a direction perpendicular to the adhesive surface of the veneer to obtain an artificial wood grain decorative veneer with a pattern very similar to the straight grain pattern of a natural precious wood veneer.

Example 2 Rotary veneers with a thickness of 0.6 mm obtained from lauan logs were dyed into two types of yellowish brown. Next, 150 g/m 2 of amino resin adhesive colored dark brown was applied to both sides of the dyed veneer, and two types of dyed veneers were appropriately combined and laminated between a pair of uneven pattern boards. The edges of the Karin veneer, which are elongated and have a shorter outer circumference than the veneer, are placed at various places on the dyed veneer and then laminated and pressed for 6 hours at a pressure of 25 kg/cm 2 at room temperature. It was made into a veneer laminated fritsch.

As described above, according to the present invention, there is no need to create templates with complicated shapes, dye low-grade wood veneers in complicated colors, or combine them in complicated ways, and there is no need to create complicated templates, and there is no need to combine them in a complicated manner. In the manufacturing process, by simply inserting small edge veneers obtained from precious wood in places between low-grade wood veneers, the complex color tone of natural precious wood veneers can be used in places inside the artificial wood grain veneer to create an artificial finish. To manufacture artificial wood-grained veneers that have complex color tones and wood-grain patterns that closely resemble natural precious wood veneers, such as the wood grain pattern being cut in the middle or the width of the wood grain changing without changing the overall image of the wood-grained veneer. I can do it.

In addition, the precious wood edge veneers used are veneers that had previously been discarded or incinerated, but they also have the advantage of being able to be used effectively.
