  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 中心部に光フアイバユニツトを備えている
    ケーブルコアの外周に絶縁層が形成されている海
    底光ケーブルにおいて、前記海底光ケーブルの絶
    縁層内に縦沿え金属テープ層が埋設されているこ
    とを特徴とする防護型の海底光ケーブル。 (2) 金属テープ層が鉄テープによつて形成され
    ることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲の第
    (1)項記載の防護型の海底光ケーブル。 (3) 金属テープ層が黄銅テープによつて形成さ
    れていることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範
    囲の第(1)項記載の防護型の海底光ケーブル。 (4) 金属テープ層の片面又は両面に低融点の接
    着剤を塗布したラミネート金属テープによつて構
    成されていることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求
    の範囲の第(1)項記載の防護型の海底光ケーブル
    。
