Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable even a beginner operator who knows no numerical control NC code to perform a simple and speedy programming job, by giving successive input of desired data to the selected basic plane working pattern and basic section working cycle via the guidance of a CRT screen. CONSTITUTION:The successive input of desired data is given to the selected basic plane working pattern and basic section working cycle via the guidance of a CRT screen. When a plane pattern P1, for example, is selected, the CRT screen is changed into a data input screen needed for each pattern. Here the desired data are successively supplied via the guidance of the CRT screen. Some data are automatically calculated and displayed with input of the materials, tools, etc. When the input is through with the plane data, the basic section working pattern is displayed together with its number. Then a desired cycle and its necessary data are supplied in the same procedure as the plane data to complete the input of the data on a single working process.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention With such a program input method, it is first necessary to learn the NC code, making it almost impossible for beginners to master the machine. In addition, humans have to perform time-consuming coordinate calculations, and even if the pattern is regular, almost the same content must be input over and over again, resulting in an enormous amount of program input time.

Function Normally, a machining process consists of plane and cross-sectional patterns, and a combination of a flat machining pattern and a cross-sectional machining cycle makes it possible to perform various types of machining. Within each basic plane pre-Everturn and basic section processing cycle, it is only necessary to input some data displayed on the 017 screen along with the diagram, and for regular ones, it is only necessary to input the number of repetitions. More complex processing can be performed by stacking several steps consisting of the basic plane front evaturn and the basic cross-sectional processing pattern. Furthermore, the programs are completely independent for each process, making it easy to execute only an arbitrary process, such as split operation.

By selecting the plane pattern P1, the 017 screen is the third one.
The screen will change as shown in the figure to display the data entry screen required for each pattern. Here, necessary data is input one by one using the CRT screen guidance. The data in the - section is automatically calculated and displayed based on the input of materials, tools, etc. When the input of the plane data is completed, the basic cross-sectional machining patterns are numbered and displayed, and the same steps as for the plane (Figs. 4 and 5) are displayed.
One step of data input is completed by inputting the desired cycle and the data required therein as shown in the figure. Traditionally complex machining programs can be easily created by remanipulating the process described above (consisting of a non-pull pre-plane evaturn and a cross-sectional machining cycle) as necessary.

Further, as another embodiment, when selecting one pattern or cycle on the pre-plane evaturn and cross-section processing cycle selection screen, it is also possible to input using a menu key instead of inputting the pattern number.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention allows input of IC device programs with extremely simple operations, and is also compatible with complex machining program input for planar and cross-sectional patterns and cycle configurations. can do. In addition, data input can be done as directed by the screen, and the amount of data required for a pattern or cycle is only as shown in the processing diagram, so anyone who can read the system can handle it. In addition, programming time can be shortened and program input can be performed with fewer errors.
